My 82°E Licorice beam sunscreen gel review
I am truly impressed by Deepika Padukone and her philosophy to curate 82°E, a self-care brand with love & care. I was intrigued to try out this sunscreen and find out if it is really worth the money.
I was looking for a new sunscreen to try and I am so glad I found this 82°E Licorice Beam SPF 40!
I received my order within 3-4 days and the packaging was great. When I opened the box, I was in awe of the luxury packaging.
This product stands out from the rest with its stunning packaging design and look. When I kept it on my dressing table, it shines out from all the other products and looks like a luxury item (indeed it is)
I have been using sunscreen for years, but I have to say, trying out this clear sunscreen gel was a pleasant surprise.
I was uncertain about the texture and the fragrance, but to my delight, it turned out to be soft, velvety, and non-greasy, so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a mask of sunscreen.
And with hot, humid days around the corner, it’s a must-have product that will keep me looking fresh and oil-free!!
This licorice beam sunscreen is light-weight and blends into the skin effortlessly leaving it feeling velvety and soft without any white cast.
After two weeks of using it in my AM routine, I can definitely see my skin looking more hydrated and healthy.
Any cons?
I haven’t seen any changes in skin brightening yet, but I’m confident that this sunscreen is protecting my skin from sunrays and its effects.
Secondly, as per the brand’s Insta page, they are telling that for optimal protection from sun rays, squeeze two strips of the product and use it. But if I use it this way, my sunscreen will get over within 2-3 weeks. Therefore, I would request the brand to either increase the quantity or lessen the price.
MRP: 1800 for 40gm
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a sunscreen that will give you a non-greasy, matte finish and clear gel formula, then the 82°E licorice beam sunscreen is definitely worth splurging on!
Lightweight and easy to apply, this sunscreen will protect your skin while giving you a beautiful, natural glow.
Absolutely, self-care should definitely be a top priority for everyone. Taking care of our skin is essential, and it’s great to hear that the sunscreen by 82E is such an on-point product. Sun protection is crucial for maintaining healthy skin and preventing damage from harmful UV rays. It’s also promising to see that global stars like Deepika Padukone have invested in this brand, as it indicates the product’s quality and effectiveness.
If a product is vegan and cruelty free, I am all for it. Sunscreen are a daily use item and I would try this product. But I agree, value for money is of essence for such common items.
This seems like a good sunscreen gel. I did not know that Deepika has a personal beauty brand. I will like to try it, especially impressed by the packaging.Sandy N Vyjay
I did not know she recommends this one, but it sounds good enough. Although I have a very sensitive skin but I would like to give it a try though!
It’s her self care brand.
I saw the ad for this product last week and thought of buying once the current product is finished. Thank you for sharing your inputs for the same.
I am a big fan of DP. And truly trust her value. The fact that she’s not rushing into a plethora of products vouchers for their quality. And the pricing is premium too which means she might be actually using her own products. Would love to try this sunscreen.
I am looking for a sunscreem for my sensitive skin. Thanks for the detailed review and every details about the product. I am going to buy it as the packaging looks definetely amazing.
