I must confess, I initially found Japanese dramas more appealing than Korean ones due to their simplicity and relatability.
However, I’ve since stumbled upon three amazing K-dramas, with my top favorite being ‘Destined with You’.
The emotional roller coaster K-dramas take you on is just extraordinary. They create this magical and captivating atmosphere that you simply don’t find in Japanese, Hindi, or English shows.
That’s why K-dramas are often affectionately referred to as ‘Kdramaland’.
Of course, not all Korean dramas strike a chord with me – there are always exceptions. The latest addition to my favorites is ‘Destined with You’.
If you’re on the hunt for great K-dramas, I’d also recommend checking out ‘Behind Your Touch’ and ‘A Time Called You’ on Netflix.
The best part? Netflix offers Hindi dubbed versions of these shows, making it more approachable for a broader audience, especially in India with its massive population.
So, brace yourself for a roller-coaster ride with the top 3 new Hindi-dubbed K-Dramas on Netflix that you literally can’t miss.
1. Destined with you
For a long time, my recommendations on Netflix were filled with this drama. At first, I was hesitant to dive in because I hadn’t seen anything from these actors before and the summary didn’t pique my interest.
But when I ran out of things to watch, I decided to give it a go, mainly because it was in Hindi. Boy, am I glad I did! I’m absolutely hooked on this show, particularly since the 3rd episode.
The lead characters’ chemistry is undeniable and overflowing, and the multi-faceted elements of the drama make me want to replay it over and over again.
It’s got everything – arresting storyline, mesmerizing romance, comedy, fantasy and a tinge of suspense to keep you hooked.
I’m still following the series since it’s currently running, which means waiting patiently for new episodes each week. This routine has been a nostalgic reminder of my ‘Twenty Five Twenty One‘ days when I would eagerly watch new episodes each week, browse fan communities, follow pages for the latest updates, and devour behind-the-scenes clips.
P.S.: I recently won a signed photocopy featuring the cast of ‘Destined with You’. Thanks to Netflix, it arrived all the way from Korea!
2. A Time Called You
When I heard who was in the cast for this show, I got really hyped. Why? Well, it stars the actress from Vincenzo, Jeon Yeo Been and it’s all about time travel mystery which is totally my kind of thing.
The whole series of 12 episodes was dropped on Netflix on September 8th, and you can bet I binged the entire thing in a single day. Oh yeah!
The show’s called ‘A Time Called You’, and it’s a Korean adaptation of a smash-hit Taiwanese drama, ‘Someday or One Day’. To be honest, I haven’t seen the original yet, so I went into this one without any preconceived ideas or comparisons.
Want to know what I thought? Well, all my opinions are based on ‘A Time Called You’.
Can you imagine experiencing a love so powerful that it transcends time and space? That’s what ‘A Time Called You’ masterfully explores.
I really enjoyed watching it, I mean, the cast and the whole time travel thing were pretty exciting. But here’s the thing, the love story which is supposed to be the heart of the show didn’t do much for me.
I felt like the chemistry between the lead actors was a bit off, so I couldn’t really connect to their love story.
3. Behind Your Touch
If you’re looking to have a good chuckle, then you definitely have to check out Behind Your Touch Korean drama!
It’s an incredibly entertaining show that features a veterinarian who is gifted with psychometric powers, and a detective who needs the vet’s help to crack small-town cases and a serial killer mystery.
From the hilarious moments to the lightheartedness of the show, I’m loving every minute of it.
Throughout these top 3 new Hindi-dubbed K-Dramas on Netflix, you will certainly find yourself feeling a whirlwind of emotions: suspense, excitement, love, rage, laughter, and even an occasional tear.
So, are you ready to embark on an enthralling journey with these K-Dramas? Turn on your Netflix and start binge-watching now.
