Furama hotel Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur: My Review
Sharing is Caring:

We began our hotel search 2 months before our trip, with many fellow travelers suggesting we stay near Bukit Bintang as it’s the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

After exploring our options, we were drawn to the Royal Chulan hotel, located just a 4km walk from Pavillion Mall in Bukit Bintang. The hotel had a royal feel, and we couldn’t wait to stay there.

However, as our trip dates approached, my sister realized her mistake that she forgot to book the hotel, she thought she did, but she didn’t.  This left us disappointed as the price had increased and we were forced to find an alternative.

After some deliberation, we decided to book a room at Furama Hotel, recommended by fellow Indian travelers. The hotel seemed like a good choice, and we were intrigued to see what our stay would be like.

First off, let’s talk about the location. Furama Hotel is perfectly situated in Bukit Bintang, which is the heartbeat of Kuala Lumpur.

You’re just a hop, skip, and jump away from major attractions like Lalaport mall, Berjaya Times Square, the Pavilion shopping mall, and even the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. Whether you’re hungry for good food or eager to shop till you drop, everything is within easy reach.

Furama Hotel is committed to sustainability and eco-friendly practices, which is evident in the way they operate their property.

Additionally, the hotel only offers daily cleaning services to guests staying in the executive club rooms, like myself, further emphasizing their commitment to environmental stewardship. Otherwise, for other rooms, cleaning happens in 2-3days.

During my stay at Furama, I had the pleasure of staying in an executive club room located on the 25th floor, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline.

Oh my goodness! I was so excited when I looked out at the city view from my room. I felt so thankful to God that I didn’t end up staying at Royal Chulan because wow! I’m only in Kuala Lumpur for 2 days and this view is definitely a must-see in my book.

The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. Waking up to panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur each morning was truly a highlight of my time at Furama and at night, the view was incredible.

So my sister ended up reserving an Executive club room without really thinking about it – she just saw it came with breakfast and went for it! Little did she know about all the awesome perks that came with staying in that room. 😅

One of the perks of staying in an executive club room at Furama is access to exclusive dining experiences, such as daily breakfast and high tea service.

The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, featuring both local Malaysian dishes and international favorites. The high tea service offered a selection of sweet and savory treats, perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up after a day of exploring the city.

During our short stay in Kuala Lumpur, we managed to make it to the hotel for high tea both days because all the tourist spots were conveniently close by. We spent our days exploring, then headed back to the hotel for some relaxation and a high tea. Afterward, we were off again to discover more of what the city had to offer.

The service at Furama Hotel was good. From check-in to check-out, I felt well taken care of and valued as a guest. I would highly recommend Furama Hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, especially those looking to indulge in the luxury of an executive club room and enjoy unparalleled city views.
