6 Ways To Beat The Heat This Summer And Stay Cool
Sharing is Caring:

I have lived in Delhi for more than 6 years and its scorching heat always made me feel lethargic and sweaty. The summer season would remain for more than 7 months and it was really torture because if I plan to get ready with good clothes & makeup, the Delhi heat would destroy my look within 5 mins as soon as step out of my home.

Thankfully, I am back in Pune and can bear the summer here as it is not too hot and too long. However, the heat can sometimes be unbearable and we need to stay cool.

In my clinic, many patients are complaining of dehydration, food poisoning, dry mouth, sunburn, etc. Hence, it is important to follow some essential tips in the summer season.

If you’re looking for ways to beat the heat this summer and stay cool, then look no further! Here are six great tips:

1.   Stay hydrated

Make sure to drink lots of fluids – water, juices, and iced teas are all great choices.

Water helps to maintain our overall health by flushing out toxins from our body and keeping us hydrated. Drink 2-3 liters of water every day.

Avoid sugary drinks, as they can make you feel more dehydrated.

2.   Include fresh summer fruits & veggies in your diet

Not only are they tasty & rich in minerals & vitamins, but they’re also full of water, which will help keep you hydrated & cool.

These fresh fruits, veggies, and salads also help us to fight against diseases.

I am using Saffola Aura Extra Light Olive oil in salads, spreads, sprouts, etc to make it yummy & healthy.

3.   Have nutritional supplements like Saffola Fittify Gummies for the daily energy boost

We don’t get enough essential nutrients from food. Therefore, it is important to boost our immunity by having nutritional supplements like Saffola Fittify the Perfekt Gummies for daily energy boost that help to fill the nutritional gap for stronger immunity.

  •  Enriched with nutrients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A & zinc
  • Helps to reduce fatigue & weakness
  • Boost our immune system
  • Fill the daily nutrition gap

As you can see in the picture,

2 gummies contain 2 tomatoes + 2 bowls of green peas + 1glass of milk.

So it helps to provide the required nutrients our body needs. I have got lemon flavor and enjoy my daily dose of immunity.

4.  Take a dip

Whether it’s in a pool, lake, or the ocean, water is always a great way to stay cool. Just be sure to put on sunscreen first!

5.   Dress for the weather

Wear light, loose-fitting clothing that will help you stay cooler than dark, heavy fabrics.

6.   Keep your home cool

Close the curtains or blinds during the day, and use fans or air conditioners to circulate the air.

So, there you have it – six ways to beat the heat this summer and stay cool.

Remember to also stay out of direct sunlight and avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. And don’t forget sun protection, such as sunscreen and hats, to prevent sunburn and skin damage. Stay safe and enjoy all that summer has to offer!
