6 Feel-Good Movies on Netflix to Watch Right Now
Sharing is Caring:

I am a self-confessed entertainment lover and romantic comedy is my favourite genre because it has swoon-worthy content that turns a gloomy day into a cheerful one.

This year, Netflix has come up with many new refreshing, sequel and feel good movies which you will love if you are a rom-com lover like me.

Am sure many of you must have seen this as we all want to have a good time watching saccharine-filled movies rather than a hopeless romantic film this year.

So, here are the 6 Feel-Good Movies on Netflix to watch with your loved ones.

1) Love, Guaranteed

A dating platform which guarantees LOVE to their users and claim till 1k dates they can find their true love.

Nice marketing strategy right! Because who will go for 1k dates?

However, one user completes 1k dates. How? He completed by going on dates for Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner, yet not found Love & hence he hires a female lawyer against the site.

But she falls in love with her client and is one of the subscribers.

Now how will they win the case? Watch it to find out.

A good and clean romantic comedy movie that will elevate your mood. It was totally entertaining and we enjoyed watching it. Love, Guaranteed will surely guarantee to make you feel-good.

2) Work It

work it movie review

A brilliant teenage high school girl vows to get admission to her late father’s university by any means and she can get into if she wins an acclaimed dance competition.

However, she had never danced her whole life, but her determination and hard work transform her gawkiness and soon she form a dance group of different people having different dance attributes for participation in a dance competition.

A good, entertaining dance movie, but should have been longer. Everything was in rush & nowhere any dance struggle was felt.

3) The Kissing Booth 2

This film is the sequel to the 2018 movie The Kissing Booth.

the kissing booth 2 review

The story continues with Noah off to Harvard for further studies and Elle is preparing for college. While Elle juggles her long-distance romance with Noah, a spark ignites for a new classmate. Also, her bestie Lee wants them both to go to the same college whereas Noah wishes her to take admission to Harvard.

Now, these problems were less, that Lee’s girlfriend added one more as she doesn’t like him spending so much time with Elle. With so many issues going on, how will Elle deal with it?

The story is predictable but entertaining. In fact, I loved this story more than the first part. Further, the new classmate is dashing and sweet & the chemistry between them was amazing.

4) To All the Boys P.S. I Still Love You

This movie is the second installment to the 2018 film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Lara Jean & Peter are happily dating, but an old flame from one of her old love letters reenters her life and she starts having feelings for him which makes everything complicated.

Now what Lara Jean will do? Follow her heart the right way or go with the flow?

Well, it was an OK movie because after watching the first part, I was expecting more, but it was disappointing. The first part was very good in all aspects and the second part was not that great.

Anyways, you should watch it to know how the story continues and maybe you can like it more. Besides it has two charming men to lure you- Noah & Jordan. So, again a feel-good movie vibe.

5) Sierra Burgess Is a Loser

Sierra Burgess is a chubby, unpopular high school girl who has a crush on a good-looking boy.

A wrong number text sparks a virtual romance between them as the boy talks to her thinking that the number belongs to the gorgeous cheerleader of her high school. The cheerleader supports Sierra in winning the heart of the boy, but how long will this fake identity go on and what will happen once he finds out the truth.

This is a common story we counter in the real world. I love Noah Centineo and never miss watching his movies and he was rocking in this too.

At one scene, I felt it unrealistic where the boy want to kiss her for the first time and that moment Sierra and that cheerleader was taking time to swap, and although the boy’s eyes were closed, still anyone could sense that something is going on, but it showed he didn’t feel anything. That was a dumb scene for me.

Apart from that, the movie is enjoyable and a feel-good movie that will make you happy.

6) The Perfect Date

Another Noah Centineo teen movie which I enjoyed watching. Well, I told you I am his fan. I think even Netflix is his fan 😉 He just makes the screen sparkle with his presence.

the perfect date review

A high school student launches an app offering his services as fake dates to earn some money. But when he starts having feelings for someone, things get complicated.

This is a 2019 movie that is simple and sweet making it a perfect rom-com movie. The fake dates are the highlight and interesting part of the story as it reveals so many hidden truth about them.

*Rating: 3/5

So these were my favourites Feel-Good Movies on Netflix to watch. Yes, I know all are teen movies except one, but that doesn’t mean you can’t watch them. If you love rom-com and want to feel happy, am sure you will enjoy watching them.
