It is my immense pleasure to share with you that my blog-SHAANDAAR JENIE BLOG was the proud media partner for the Grehlakshmi Dopahar Season 5 with Dwarka Moms in the spirit of Women’s day.

We all know about Grehlakshmi Magazine as it is India’s No.1 Hindi Magazine. Even my mom is a fan of it and having an association made me ecstatic.

I got the opportunity to attend their Grehlakshmi Dopahar event which is the biggest housewives engagement program curated and initiated by Grehlakshmi Magazine. A delightful 2-3 hours bash providing housewives a dose of infotainment, pampering them with special titles and engaging them with fun-filled activities.

Sharing my experience at the event which was full of life.

The aim of ‘Grehlakshmi Afternoon’

It is not only to make women happy but also to give a short break from everyday chores. Every Grehlakshmi spends all her time taking care of their home and family, so Grehlakshmi comes to the ladies to give them a little break and relaxing afternoon to have some fun moments away from home.

“Swachh Bharat Oath”

Event started with “Swachh Bharat Oath”. We all the ladies took pledge to keep our surrounding and homes clean, plant more trees, teaching kids the same values and also encourage other people to do the same.

Grehlakshmi Dopahar Activities

There were 2 hours of non-stop entertainment through various engaging activities which would, during the process of entertainment, also attempt to educate. The anchor kept engaging us with her wittiness and activities.

4. Lucky dips
5. Fashion show
6. Contests
7. Nail art
8. Much more

Health and fitness tips by celebrity nutritionist Shikha A Sharma

She gave us an insightful session on the blessings of Indian spices, Indian foods and also on a public health issue-Coronavirus.

I was highly impressed by her session as it made understanding diet and knowledge of food so easy.

Variety of stalls to shop

Also, there were many stalls placed for shopping at a reasonable price. Clothes, Jewellery, tarot card reader and a lot more were there which made the event interesting.

‘Grehlakshmi Queen’

There was tremendous competition among women to become ‘Grehlakshmi Queen’. Confidence could be seen in every step they took on the ramp. Every woman had their different style and aura.

Even I had taken participation in the fashion show and really enjoyed doing it. All the women kept encouraging each other which were so inspiring.

Three women who stand out the most and showed confidence and grace on the ramp were;

• 2nd Runner-up:- Deepika
• 1st Runner-up:- Suparna
• Grehlakshmi Queen:- Mili

Grehlakshmi also showed their gratification to all the women presented there by giving 5 more titles to the audience and even me.

 ‘Tata Sampaan and PCJ’ were the brand partners. They chose grehlakshmi dopehar to promote their products and connect with women directly and efficiently.

There was blind tasting session of the masalas and the quiz on spices which was informative.

Events like GREHLAKSHMI DOPAHAR boosts confidence of housewives, helps in social networking, which may help them in any ways and add a lifetime memories to cherish.

 So, if you haven’t attended any Grehlakshmi event yet, then do it. I can assure you that it will leave a positive impact on your mind and soul.
