In 2018, Korea was still a hidden gem for many. I stumbled upon it thanks to some online friends chatting about Korean dramas. That’s when I watched my first kdrama ‘She was Pretty‘. And let me tell you, I was totally hooked – line and sinker for all things Korean!
I adored how Korea was so squeaky clean and breathtakingly beautiful, not to mention the delicious food, trendy makeup, and rich culture. It didn’t take long for me to completely embrace my love for Korea, sharing my passion on my blog and Instagram.
Visiting Korea is a dream of mine, and I can’t wait to immerse myself in the magic of this country.
What first captured my heart was its impressive development. Korea is so advanced, with top-notch facilities ranging from buildings to transportation that are not only convenient but also super clean.
And let’s not forget about the food! My love for noodles was taken to a whole new level because of k-dramas with the incredible variety that Korea has to offer. Some of these mouthwatering options are even available in my home country of India, and I’ve enjoyed every delicious bite.
And of course, we can’t forget about the beauty! As a skincare enthusiast, I am naturally drawn to the beauty of Korea and I can’t wait to do some shopping there.
Lastly I like the language and the culture, i have started understanding little bit and use Korean words in my daily life with my husband and family. Also, the culture is quite similar to India, hence feel connected.
I love Korea so much that I even asked my husband to look for a job there, even if it’s just for a short time 😉 It would be a dream comes true if he got hired!
I would love to explore places like Itaewon, Jeju Island, han river and Starfield Library, while indulging in delicious street foods (excited that Korea is focusing on halal options now!)and trying out the Hanbok.
It’s great to know that I won’t have any food-related worries and can share how Muslim-friendly Korea has become. I also can’t wait to stock up on skincare and makeup products from brands like Innisfree and Laneige.
Even if I only had 24 hours in Korea, I would make the most of every moment because those 24 hours would feel like 24 years to me. That’s how much I love Korea and want to make unforgettable memories there.
