We all experience of feeling low in some days of our life and that is reflected in our mood.

Yeah, it is not uncommon to have some good and some bad days. There can be an infinite or a single reason for feeling low, but it is important to make sure that it doesn’t stay long and impact negativity.

So, always engage in activities which you love to do and elevate your mood. Although we know the things which can turn our mood on, here am sharing some quick, simple ways that will help you to boost your mood instantly and make you feel awesome again.

1)  Watch Rom-Com movies

Watching your favourite movie or rom-com with some snacks in your cozy bed will enlighten your mood instantly and make you feel happy again.

Rom-com or comedy movies are meant to be light-hearted and give a complete dose of entertainment with gleefulness.

2)  Listen to Happy Music

Choose your songs wisely that will uplift your mood and make you happy, do not listen to those which can make you more upset.

3)  Meet your friends and family

Friends and family will always understand you and all you need to do is meet them up. Go out, spend time with them, talk non-sense and you will feel the difference.

In case the meeting cannot happen, remember, they are just a call away. Grab your phone and dial them.

4)  Count your blessings

When the mood is off, remember all the good things you have in your life and be grateful. It will make you realize how lucky you are and bring out the positivity.

5)  Pamper yourself

Sometimes all you need is “Me” time. So, pamper yourself with something in your waitlist like spa, beauty treatment or a haircut.

6)  Take a break from social media

It is always healthy to take a break from social media esp. when you are feeling low because, on social media, everyone’s life is perfect and far from reality.

So, better avoid using it and give your mind some peace.

  1. Nice tips to get over the blues. These are doable. I love to watch a movie in a theatre and eat a good meal at the food court. Buying a gadget or a new book also does the trick. Though I may not read the book or complete it and gadget may remain unused till I feel guilty and start reading the manual, I love the kick.
